Dixon Tiger passed away on Dec. 20, 2023.
A graveside ceremony was held on Jan. 2, 2023, at the Concho Cemetery in Concho, OK.
Dixon was born in Dallas, TX, on Nov. 17, 1962, to Dean and Ruby Tiger. Following his education, Dixon joined the U.S. Army.
For much of his working life, he was a laborer at a tire shop. He was a proud member of the Cheyenne-Arapaho tribe in OK and will be laid to rest with his family on tribal land.
Survivors include his daughter Elaine Tiger of Oklahoma City, son Steven Tiger of Shawnee, grandchildren Jocilyn Davidson, Colton Tiger, and Kyle Tiger as well as many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. Dixon was preceded in death by his parents and siblings Donna Tiger, Dennis Tiger, and Dee Tiger.
A graveside ceremony was held on Jan. 2, 2023, at the Concho Cemetery in Concho, OK. Arrangements were under the direction of Walker Funeral & Cremation Service, Shawnee, OK.
