The City of Shawnee voted Monday, Dec. 18, to approve the authorization to file legal proceedings, pursuant to title 50, section 17 of the Oklahoma statutes in district court in Pottawatomie, Oklahoma, for the purpose of abating a nuisance, the Fairview Mausoleum.
The Fairview Mausoleum is owned by the Fairview Mausoleum Association, Inc., which is a private, forprofi t entity.
