Clara G. Bristow passed away January 3, 2024. Clara was born February 16, 1942 in her parent’s log cabin in Bergman, Arkansas to Pearl K. and Hazel Whiteside.
Clara married Paul F. Bristow in February 21, 1958 in Seminole, OK. Clara and Paul were married for more than 62 years, until the time Paul passed away in November of 2020. Clara worked for Shawnee Public Schools as a monitor on one of the Special Needs Buses.
Clara is preceded in death by her husband, her parents, two brothers, four sisters, one half brother and one half sister.
Clara is survived by five children: Terry F. Bristow and wife Diana of Shawnee, Donna Warren of Shawnee, Kenneth D. Bristow and wife Linda of Shawnee, Tammy Gentry and Husband Eldon (Trent) of Tecumseh and Jason Bristow and wife Melanie of Shawnee. Fifteen grandchildren, twenty two great-grandchildren and four greatgreat- grandchildren. Many nieces and nephews, friends and church brothers and sisters.
Services were held January 8, 2024 at Resthaven Funeral Home Chapel; burrial followed at Tecumseh Cemetery.
