Shelia G. (Sheppard) Lott passed away on Aug. 22, 2024. She was born September 11, 1947 in Shawnee, OK. to Thomas “Pete” and Eula “Trixie” (Macklin) Sheppard. She graduated from Harjo High School in 1965 and married Don Lott on November 11, 1966, who entered the Air Force. She embraced the life of a military spouse, living in various places. Shelia dedicated much of her life to being a homemaker, creating a warm and nurturing environment for her family. Alongside her role at home, she also worked part-time at Hartoon’s Jewelry for several years.
She was preceded in death by her parents, “Pete” and “Trixie” Sheppard; brother, Bill Sheppard; nephew, Randy Sheppard.
Survivors include her husband, Donald G. Lott of the home; son and daughter-in-law, Gary and Sarah Lott of Edmond, OK; and grandchildren, Cooper Lott and Lainey Lott; and many nieces, nephews and other extended family and friends.
Service will be 2:00 p.m., Thursday Aug. 29, 2024 at Cooper Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Fred Owens officiating. Burial will follow at Tecumseh Cemetery under the direction of Cooper Funeral Home of Tecumseh.
