Sandra Kay Smithey passed away on Oct. 9, 2024. She enjoyed stained glass crafting and traveling. Sandra liked taking people out to eat, and always picked up the tab. In her golden years, Sandra enjoyed watching wildlife from her porch.
She is preceded in death by: her eldest sister, Karen Jean Pylant, husband Don Smithey, mother, Elza Mae Rogers and father, William Edgar Rogers.
She is survived by her sister, Sherry Ann Gaines; brother, Bill Ed Rogers; sons, Mitchell and Tony Wano; grandkids, Alexia, Tharon, Logan, and Hannah Wano.
Services were held Oct. 16, 2024 at Cooper Funeral Home Chapel. Burial followed at Tecumseh Cemetery under the direction of Cooper Funeral Home of Tecumseh.
