Tecumseh Assistant Police Chief Mike Mallinson is shown in his U.S. Navy dress uniform in 1995, after being awarded “Sailor of the Year” while attached to VQ-5 in San Diego. Mallinson retired from the Navy after 20 years, having served on four aircraft carriers as a jet engine mechanic and In-Flight Technician.
