Johnny Lee DeLong, Jr, passed away Nov. 17, 2024, in Tecumseh, Ok. He was born on June 11, 1959 in McPherson, KS to John and Clara (Aldrich) DeLong.

Johnny graduated from Tecumseh Public Schools in 1977. In addition, he graduated from Gordon Cooper Technology Center with a welding certificate. He began his working career at Worthington Pump in Shawnee, OK before moving to Tinker AFB. He retired in 2014.

He was preceded in death by his parents; one great-niece, Ashley Annanders, one great-nephew, Robert L. Annanders II and another great nephew.

He is survived by his two sisters, Betty Trammell and her husband Lonnie of Tecumseh, Wanda Williams of Shawnee; five nieces and nephews, Robert Annanders and his wife, Barbara, of Macomb, Lawanda Clark and her husband Carl Wayne of Eufaula, Jeremy Annanders and his wife, Carolyn of Shawnee, Treva Lichty and her husband, Daniel, of Tecumseh and Ellen Hogue and her husband Michael of Tecumseh; 13 great-nieces and nephews; and five great-great nieces and nephews.

Services were held Nov. 20, 2024 at Cooper Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Dennis Stone officiating. Burial followed at Tecumseh Cemetery under the direction of Cooper Funeral Home of Tecumseh.
