Kay Lynn Dragoo passed away Oct. 3, 2024 at her home at Perkins, OK. Kay was born July 13, 1944 in Okmulgee, OK, to James Kyle Crouch and Goldia Lee Crouch. She married John Allen Dragoo on July 27,1963 at the First Baptist Church in Tecumseh, OK. Kay graduated from Tecumseh High School in 1962. She attended Mid America Bible College where she received a Bachelor’s of Science degree. She was employed by the State of Oklahoma in the Department of rehabilitative services.
She is preceded in death by her parents and her half-brother Jimmy Crouch.
Kay is survived by her; her son John David Dragoo of Anna, TX; her daughter Suzette Dragoo Barta of Perkins, OK; six grandchildren: Alec Barta and wife Sabina, Brandi Barta, Nathaniel Barta and wife Aspyn, Courtney Reneau and husband Curtis, Kyle Dragoo, and Carson Dragoo; and four great-grandchildren: Blaze Barta, Ranger Barta, Tanner Reneau and Harper Reneau.
The family would like to thank the Iowa Tribe Title VI Program and Jamie Johnson RN with the Iowa Tribe, and the Perkins Oklahoma Family Clinic. Services were held Oct. 10, 2024 at Immanuel Baptist Church in Perkins. A graveside service followed at I.O.O.F. Cemetery in Norman, OK.
