Thomas Shaun Bettis passed away unexpectedly on Jan. 10, 2025, at the age of 48. Shaun was born on March 31, 1976, in Lawton, OK to Thomas (Tommy) and Marion Denise Bettis. He attended Shawnee High School and North Rock Creek School. He also attended Gordon Cooper Vo-Tech certifying in automotive repair, along with some college classes.
He is survived by his son, Anthony Palacio; daughter-in-law, Brandi Palacio; grandson, Sammy Palacio; sister, Sara Wilson of Denver, CO, nephew, Aiden of Denver, Colorado, nieces, Lily and Ella of Denver, Colorado, aunt, Robin Garrison of Shawnee, OK, uncle, Robert Miles Chisholm of Shawnee, OK, cousins: Alissa Garrison of Shawnee, OK, Dylan Kaulaity of Shawnee, OK, Nicole Kaulaity of Oklahoma City, OK, and Denessa Kaulaity of El Reno, OK He was preceded in death by his parents; grandparents, Bob Chisholm and Marion Miles, cousin, Justin Garrison; great aunt, Roberta Miles and aunt, Melissa Williams.
Services will be held Jan. 23, 2025, 2:00pm at the Walker Funeral Chapel, reception to follow Pazlo Gonzales will officiate the ceremony. All are welcome to attend and celebrate Shaun’s life.
