In September 2024, Sergeant Dennis Raines responded to the scene of a stabbing and found the victim lying in a parking lot with two wounds. Raines applied compression gauze and kept pressure on the wounds while talking with the victim to keep him or her conscious.
When emergency medical personnel arrived, they transported the victim to the OU Trauma Center.
