Marquita Lee “Marky” (Windel) Baird passed away Mar. 8, 2025. Marky was born July 16, 1962 in Shawnee, OK, to Frank and Nancy Yvonne (Cox) Windel. She graduated with the Bethel Acres class of 1980. After high school, Marky attended college for a little while before pursuing her field of work as a Nurse’s Aide. She served that role for many years working at various clinics and home health agencies.
Survivors include her life partner, Flynn “Tommy” Wilson, sister, Jennifer Raper and husband Lanny of Oklahoma City, OK, daughter, Bailey Kirkpatrick of Shawnee, grandchildren: Blake Burrow and Scottlynn Miller and host of other dear relatives and friends.
Marky was preceded in death by her parents, son Thomas N. “Trey” Miller, III and brother Frank E. Windel, Jr.
A ceremony to celebrate Marky’s life will be held privately by her loved ones.
