Ronald Keith Mc-Mahan passed away Mar. 12, 2025.
Ron was born Oct. 29, 1953, in Shawnee, OK. He graduated from Tecumseh High School in 1971 and earned an associates degree from Seminole College in 1973.
Ron married Luanne Porter on June 20, 1980. As a young man, Ron worked as a dispatcher for the Tecumseh Police Department, then operated his own trucking business for several years. He went on to a 23-year career with the United States Postal Service.
In 2021, Ron was cast to play “The Oldtimer” in the film “Killers of the Flower Moon”.
Ron was preceded in death by his parents, Jack and Manilla McMahan; and wife, Luanne McMahan.
Survivors include sons, Ty McMahan of Oklahoma City and Tim McMahan of Purcell; sister and brother-in-law, Sherri and Rodney Pryor of Moore; nieces, Katie Frost andJulie Turner, both of Shawnee, Kacey Bishop of Sparks, Stephanie Winters of Moore,and Amy Pryor of Washington D.C.; nephews, Matt Porter of Newcastle and PatrickPryor of Moore; and sister-in-law, Vickie Porter of Prague.
A memorial service will be held at 11 am, Mar. 28, 2025, at First Baptist Church in Tecumseh, OK.
