Christine Elaine Grider passed away Mar. 27, 2025. Christine was born on December 25, 1937, in Wetumka, OK. She married Billy Wayne Grider on Oct. 13, 1956, in Wetumka. Chris worked as a surgical nurse for many years, first at Mission Hill in Shawnee and later at Southwest Orthopedics in Oklahoma City, forming friendships that lasted through her retirement.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Otto and Goldie Little and her siblings.
Chris is survived by her husband, Wayne of the home; her children, Vicki Grider (Jay Peterson), Clifton Wayne Grider (Marla), and Greg Grider (Meri Jo); and her grandchildren, Shannon Madole (Rick Harper), Melissa Sowards (Carmen), Rachel Grider, Auriel Grider (Daniel Sharp), Sami Jo Grider, Ryan Grider, Ella Grider, and Conner Grider. She is also survived by many special nieces and nephews.
