Barbara Gail Dancer passed away May 2, 2025. She was born February 20, 1945 in Haleyville, AL to Clyde and Ruth (Smith) Vickery. She graduated from Haleyville High School. Barbara married Bobby Dancer on June 05, 1965 in Delmar, AL.
She enjoyed making stained glass art, decorating cakes, making floral arrangements, and being outdoors.
Barbara is preceded in death by her parents, Clyde and Ruth Vickery.
Those left to cherish her memory are; husband, Bobby Dancer of the home; daughter, Barbara Holbrook and husband Tommy of Mountain Home, AR; daughter, DeAnna Taylor of Tecumseh; daughter, Kristie Cobb and husband Frank of Tecumseh; brother, Jack Vickery and wife Shirley of Slaughterville; brother, Donnie Vickery and wife Brenda of Tecumseh; eleven grandchildren; seventeen great-grandchildren, and numerous other family and friends.
Services were held May 6, 2025 at Sharon Baptist Church with Reverend Clint Dawkins officiating. Burial followed at Forrest Hill Cemetery under the direction of Cooper Funeral Home of Tecumseh.
