LOCO Upgrades Track, Engines

  • David Hibler operates one of the four fully-updated, 1/8-scale diesel locomotives at Locomotive Operators of Central Oklahoma on Oct. 5. LOCO is located on five acres, west of Shawnee Twin Lakes on Lake Drive, and is open on the first Sunday monthly, 1-4 pm. In December, the train club will once again offer their Christmas Light Train Ride on Nov. 29, Dec. 7, Dec. 14, and Dec. 19, beginning at 5:30 pm. In addition to Christmas lights on the trains and along the route, they will have Santa Claus & cocoa.
