HARRAH, OK — Decorated Air Force veteran and retired Dell senior manager Steve King has announced his candidacy for Oklahoma Senate District 17. Running in the Republican primary, King is focused on strengthening public safety, growing Oklahoma’s economy, supporting veterans, and improving education.
“I’ve spent my life serving my country and community,” King said. “Now I’m ready to serve the people of District 17 by ensuring safer neighborhoods, stronger schools, and more opportunity for our families.”
King rose to Chief Master Sergeant during his 30-year Air Force career, leading airmen worldwide, before spending 17 years in the private sector building high-performing teams at Dell. He says his leadership experience in both military and business uniquely prepares him to deliver results in the State Senate.
