Alden Blanchard passed away October 28, 2023.
Alden was born May 17, 1951 to Clifton Blanchard and Freida Grant in Shawnee, OK.
Alden worked for many years at Little River State Park, also Thunderbird Casino where he retired.
He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Clifford Blanchard and Rick Blanchard; sisters, Gloria Lasley, Carol Blanchard and Juliann Torres.
Alden is survived by two brothers and sisters-in-law, Eddie and Lucinda Blanchard of Choctaw and Larry and Lisa Blanchard of Shawnee; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Tribal Rites will be held Friday evening, November 3, 2023 at Absentee Shawnee Tribe Community Building with George Blanchard officiating. Burial will follow Saturday morning, November 4, 2023 at Absentee Shawnee Tribe Burial Grounds in Little Axe, under the direction of Cooper Funeral Home of Tecumseh.
