Alisa Dawn Beal passed away on Feb. 13, 2023. Alisa was born on Dec. 13, 1959, to Jack R. and Carolyn Sue Merritt in Tecumseh, OK. She graduated from Bethel High School and continued her education at Seminole State College, where she earned an associate degree in English. She also attended UCO.
Alisa graduated from culinary school and worked as a chef at Firelake Casino and as a crew chef for Tinker Air Force Base.
She was preceded in death by her father, Jack Merritt; brother, Rusty Merritt; and grandparents, Ralph and Pearl Guinn.
Those left to mourn her passing are husband, Daniel Beal of the home; son, Beau Carter; daughter-inlaw, Lois Carter; grandchildren, Blake and Lydia Carter of Shawnee; mother, Sue Merritt; and brother, Jon Merritt, all of Shawnee.
Services were held February 20, 2023, at the Walker Funeral Chapel with Mr. Jerry Knoblin officiating.
