Bobby Ray (“Bob”) Clark passed away April 5, 2025. Bob was born to Jewell and Lou George Clark near McComb, OK on March 11, 1940. Bob’s legacy lives on in his childhood sweetheart and beloved wife of 67 years, Patsy Clark, and four children and their families - Debbie Settle of Mustang, Darla and Doug Gragert of Choctaw, Lorrie and Mike Moore of Choctaw, and Bobby Clark and Shaun Cartwright of Dallas. Bob is also remembered and loved by eight grandchildren and their families, including fourteen great grandchildren, as well as three of his six siblings, one brother-in-law and one sister-in-law - Don Clark, Lois Cantrell, Sheila and Bob Evans, and Louise McLin.

He was preceded in death by his parents, a sonin- law, Paul Settle, three siblings, and six siblings in law - Alice and Bill Bray, Lester and Thelma Clark, Jack and Mary Clark, Marilyn Clark, Belvin Cantrell, and Carl McLin.

Bob spent his career as a public school educator - serving thousands of students from McComb, Bethel, Velma-Alma, Garber, Carmen-Dacoma, and Choctaw as a coach, teacher, principal, superintendent, and assistant superintendent. He ended his career as an elected official, serving as Oklahoma County’s Superintendent of Schools.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 10:00 a.m., Saturday, April 19, 2025 at First Baptist Church, Choctaw, OK with Dr. Andy Finch officiating under the direction of Cooper Funeral Home of Tecumseh.
