Braden Charles Landreth, 25, of Shawnee Oklahoma passed away on May 24th, 2023. Braden was born January 5th, 1998 in Oklahoma City to Marcy Marvin and Danny Landreth. Braden spent the majority of his life in Shawnee and would eventually graduate from Epic Charter Schools in 2016.
Braden worked as a Peer Recovery Support Specialist for Hope Community Services helping others overcome the grips of addiction that he had found freedom from.
Braden is survived by his twin sons, Leighton & Lliam Melter; father, Danny Landreth and his wife, Brenda Landreth of Norman OK; mother, Marcene Marvin and her husband, Waylon Marvin of Creston IA; grandmother, Loretta Vermeer of Sioux Center, IA; grandmother, Suzanne Tutton of Tulsa, OK; grandfather, David Landreth and his wife Kim of Newalla, OK; brother, Jared Landreth, his wife Madisson and their children, Luke and Ezra of Shawnee, OK; as well as many uncles, aunts, and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Marvin Vermeer of Sioux Center, IA; uncle, Henry Wynia of Rock Valley, IA; and uncle, Marlin Vermeer of Denver, CO.
A celebration of Braden’s life was held at Immanuel Baptist Church in Shawnee Oklahoma on May 27th.
