Carey Junior Corbin passed away Dec. 23, 2024 in Oklahoma City, OK. Carey was born Mar. 22, 1947 in Tecumseh, OK to Vernon Samuel and Mary (Pierce) Corbin. Carey worked for several years for the city of Shawnee and BFI Sanitation before retiring.
He is preceded in death by; his parents; his sisters, Nell Townsend, Mary Reid, Laverna Kraicek, Janice Fisher, and Barbara Winborn; and his brothers, Alton Corbin and Larry Corbin Those left to cherish his memory are; his daughter, Crissy Corbin of Shawnee; his son, Carey Samuel Corbin of Shawnee; his daughter, Caria Kennedy of Tecumseh; his grandson, Caden Kennedy; his sister, Bonnie Hitchcock of Moore; and numerous nieces, nephews and other family and friends.
Services were held Dec. 27, 2024 at the Tecumseh Cemetery Pavilion with Pastor Keith Ward of Taproot Church, Shawnee, OK, officiating, under the direction of Cooper Funeral Home of Tecumseh.
