Cecelia “Lois” Washington, age 95, passed away on Mar. 23, 2025. Cecelia worked most of her life as a home health aide for Med Core of Seminole, OK. She was a proud member of the Sac and Fox Tribe of OK.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Harrry E. Wakolee and Lillian M. Wakolee, two children, Larry D. Snodgrass and Linda Beene, two brothers, Gary Wakolee and Delbert Wakolee, five sisters, Irene McClellen, Thelma Wilcox, Donna Green, Sue Bohannon, and Leona Wakolee and one great-grandson, Spencer Snodgrass.
She is survived by one son, Wayne Snodgrass and wife, Teri of Meeker, OK, daughter, Joyce and Clayton Ray of Shawnee, OK, three sisters, Charlotte Lane, Esther Armitage, and Frida West, one brother, Gene Wakolee and wife Debbie of Earlsboro, OK, four grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren, one great-greatgrandchild, and numerous nieces and nephews.
A graveside ceremony will be held on Thursday, March 27, 2025 at 11:00 am at Resthaven Memorial Park in Shawnee, OK.
