Claude Wayne Henderson passed away Mar. 11, 2024 after long suffering Alzheimers Dementia.

Claude was born in Tahoka, TX on Mar. 19, 1945 to Charles Leo and Beulah Jean Henderson. He attended Tecumseh Public Schools through his childhood and graduated from U.S. Grant High School in 1963. He met Linda Routen, his wife of 25 years, and mother of his four children. Claude retired from Tinker Air Force Base in 2000 after 32 years.

Claude was preceded in death by his parents Charles and Beulah Henderson, his step-father, Marvin Hey, his brother, Charles Henderson, sister, Nancy Henderson, brother, Kenneth Henderson, sister, Diane Poteet, first wife, Linda Routen, son, Kenneth (Kenny) Henderson and daughter, Anna (Henderson) Dillon.

Claude is survived by his sisters, Janet Tollefson and her husband Gary Tollefson, Joan Skoog and her husband Daryl Skoog, Myrna Fountain and her husband Joe Fountain, Debbie Yandell and her husband Steve Yandell, daughter, Shelly Fazio and son-in-law Steve Fazio, daughter, Trisha Routen and son-in-law Michael Wohnoutka and many nieces, nephews, grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Services will be held on Thursday, Mar. 28, 2024, at 10 am at the Walker Funeral Chapel with Dan Megehee of Cross Cut Cowboy Church officiating. Following the ceremony, he will be laid to rest at Brown Cemetery in Shawnee. A family luncheon will follow the graveside service at Pink Town Hall (22058 Pink Lane, Tecumseh, OK).
