Dickie Herron joined his parents and his wife, Dorothy, on February 16, 2025, at the age of 79. He was born in Shawnee, OK on July 23, 1945, to Coy and Mary (Knight) Herron. He was raised in Shawnee. He married Dorothy Dibler on Feb. 8, 1963. He worked 16 years for the Shawnee Public Schools System, where he retired from.
Dickie was preceded in death by his parents; wife; and his brother, Doyle Edward Herron.
He is survived by his son, Druman Herron and husband, John; his daughter, Dondi Herron Poole; his grandson, Dylan Herron; his great-grandchild, Nora; his brother, W.C. Herron and wife, Phyllis; his sister, Glenda Sue (Ortega) Herron, and numerous nieces and nephews.
