Dorothy “Dottie” June Harrison passed away May 5, 2023.
Dorothy was born on June 12, 1946 in McAlester, OK to Ruth Mae (Dobbs) Bloxham and Andrew Lloyd Bloxham. She attended High School in Latimer County.
Dorothy married Allen P. Harrison on November 5, 1994 in Las Vegas, NV.
Dorothy owned and operated a beauty salon until her retirement in 1993.
Dorothy was preceded in death by her parents and two sisters Mary Buckles and Edna Bullet.
Dorothy is survived by her loving husband of 29 years, Allen P. Harrison of Shawnee, OK, daughter Shawna Gray of Shawnee, OK, son and daughter-inlaw: Beau and Terri Harrison of Shawnee, OK, one brother Thomas L. Bloxham of Tecumseh, OK, four sisters; Barbara Bullard of Alderson, OK, Shirley Sonaggera of Wilburton, OK, Juanita Hensley of Casa Grande, AZ and Debbie Tripp of Moore, OK, three grandchildren; Antonio Ramires, Mariah Ramires and Justin Harrison, and five great grandchildren, Jude Ramires, Josie Ramires and Cooper Harrison, Kash Harrison and Kinleigh Harrison.
Services were held May 10, 2023 at the Swearingen Funeral Home Chapel in Seminole, Ok., Burial followed at Resthaven Memorial Park in Shawnee, OK. Gary Nickerson pastor of the Hilltop Baptist Church in Shawnee officiated.
Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Swearingen Funeral Home in Seminole, OK.
