Freda Taylor Hinkle passed away Dec. 6, 2024. Freda was born on June 8, 1942, in Watford, England, the tenth of eleven siblings to Henry and Margaret Mary Taylor.
In 1963, Freda embarked on a new chapter, moving to America, and pursuing a career as a hair stylist after attending cosmetology school. Freda was the devoted wife of the late Dr. Royce A. Hinkle Jr..
She leaves behind: her son, Stephen Hinkle of Dallas, TX; her “second children,” Debbi and Billy Reinschmiedt of Alameda, CA, Elaine and Rick Miller of Oklahoma City, and Tracy and Karen Hinkle of DeBary, FL; nine grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren; and sister, Sheila, and her husband, James Westgate, of Wimbourne, Dorset, England.
A funeral service will be held at the Walker Funeral Chapel, 201 E. 45th Street, Shawnee, OK 74804, on Dec. 20, 2024, at 11am, followed by a private burial for family and close friends at Memory Lane Cemetery, 20451 NE 10th Street, Harrah, OK.
