Glynn Martin Harris was born June 15, 1943, in England, and passed away on Sept. 29, 2026. Glynn graduated from New Caney High School in Porter, TX and then proudly joined the United States Army and served his country during the Vietnam War.
A skilled mechanic with a natural talent for working with his hands, Glynn had a lifelong passion for anything with an engine - especially race cars. In 1983, he made his home in Bethel Acres, Oklahoma, with his wife, Janice and sons.
Glynn is survived by his son, Billy Harris and wife Melissa of KS; son, Kenny Harris of OK; sisters, Deborah Novosad and Carolyn Pearce, both of TX; as well as many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, extended family members, and friends.
He was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Janice Harris; his parents, Reginald and Eileen Harris; brothers, Melvin Harris and Danny Harris; and sister, Linda Osburn.
Visitation will be held from 9 am to 8 pm, Oct. 8, 2026, and from 9 am to 1 pm, Oct. 9, 2026. Graveside Services will be held at 2 pm, Oct. 9, 2026, at Blackburn Chapel Cemetery with Reverend Keith Ward, Shawnee OK officiating under the direction of Cooper Funeral Home, Tecumseh, OK.
