Ida Faye Kinnamon passed away on Feb. 1, 2024, at the age of 91.
Ida was born on March 2, 1932, in a country farmhouse in Konawa, OK to John A. Elliott and Ruth Ida (Brinlee) Elliott.
Mrs. Kinnamon worked at Shawnee Milling Company for ten years and the City of Shawnee for another twenty years. After retiring from the city, she managed the Cinderella Hotel and worked for the local Wal Mart.
Faye was preceded in death by her parents and sisters: Margie Jackson, Dorthy Elliott, Emma Stockton and Mary Kinnamon.
Faye is survived by her son, Jimmie Gilmore Kinnamon; former daughter-in-law, Barbara; grandchildren, Jessie Shackelford and Ross Kinnamon; great grandchildren, Liam, Serenity, Brianna, Chloe, Jasmine, Finnegan, Zelda and Taren; her sisters, Betty Sandusky and Dean Adams; brother, John Elliott, and many nephews and nieces.
Memorial Service will be 2:00 p.m., Thursday, February 8, 2024 at Cooper Funeral Home Chapel with Faye’s nephew, Russell Belshe officiating under the direction of Cooper Funeral Home of Tecumseh.
