Jacquelyn “Jackie” Louise Coolley passed away on Jan 28, 2025. Jackie was born on Feb. 2, 1955 to Melvin and Mary Murrow. Jackie earned her Masters in Education from Oklahoma State University, a feat she achieved through tenacity and determination, even during the initial stages of her battle with dementia. In recognition of her exemplary work in math and science teaching, she was honored with the Oklahoma Presidential Award in Excellence in 2000, which included a memorable trip to Washington, D.C., to meet the President. Jackie also achieved her National Board Certification, one of the most respected professional certifications available in education.

Jackie was preceded in death by her parents and nephew, Steven Murrow.

Survivors include her husband, Steven Coolley; daughter, Taylor Israel and husband Kirk Israel; granddaughters, Juliet Israel and Sophia Israel; grandson, T.C. Israel; daughter, April Coolley; grandson, Jaxon Coolley; son, Jeremy Coolley and wife Charis Coolley; daughter, Crystal Dennis and husband Marquess Dennis, Sr.; grandsons, Marquess Dennis, Jr. and Tyreese Dennis; brother, Walter Murrow and wife Carolyn Murrow; sister, Karen Murrow; as well as many nieces and nephews.

Services were held on Feb. 5, 2025, at Faith Community Church of God.
