Joshua Montgomery Perkins of Shawnee, OK, passed away on Sept. 14, 2024, in Shawnee, OK, at the age of 19 years. Joshua Montgomery Perkins was born on Nov. 30, 2004, in Shawnee, OK to Christopher Perkins and Amy (Lee) Perkins. He graduated from Shawnee High School in 2024. He enjoyed playing baseball, basketball and fishing. He also enjoyed talking on the phone with his girlfriend and was an avid Green Bay Packers fan.
He was preceded in death by his father, Christopher Perkins; his great grandparents; his maternal grandparents, Donna and Richard Tibbs; and his paternal grandparents, Thomas and Naydene Perkins.
He is survived by his mother and father, Amy and Joshua Cowan of Shawnee; three brothers, Jake Perkins of Shawnee, Dawson (Shelby) Lee of Harrah, OK, and Aiden Cowan of Shawnee; His maternal grandparents, Craig Lee and Deborah Hill of Shawnee; two aunts, Cindy Jackson, and Mandy Vickery; one uncle, Richard Tibbs; his girlfriend, Shelby Missler of Shawnee; many nieces nephews and cousins.
The family would like to thank Joshua’s high School Teacher Mrs. Dame, and Aveanna Medical Solutions for all the help and support they have given to Joshua. Services were held Sept. 18, 2024 at Northeast Freewill Baptist Church, Shawnee, OK.
