Kimberly D. Holman passed away on Mar. 7, 2024.
She was born in Shawnee, OK on Mar. 16, 1963. Kimberly graduated from Asher High School in 1981, then attended ECU, where she received her Bachelor of Education, and two master’s degrees in education.
Kimberly married Ron Holman on Nov. 26, 1985 in Shawnee, OK.
She taught for 29 years beginning at Tecumseh, then at South Rock Creek. She completed her career at Asher Public Schools before retiring in the spring of 2020.
She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Hal and Loretta Owen and Mervin and Leota Bowen.
Those left to cherish her memory are her husband, Ron Holman of the home; one son and daughter-in-law, Corey and Caylie Holman of Asher, OK; granddaughter, Anna Holman, of Asher, OK; her parents, Murl and Reta Bowen of Asher, OK; and many loving friends and extended family.
Services were held Mar. 13, 2024 at Immanuel Baptist Church with Reverend Clint Bryant, Tecumseh First Baptist Church officiating. Burial followed at Wanette Cemetery under the direction of Cooper Funeral Home of Tecumseh.
