Larry Ralph Shepherd passed away on Nov. 3, 2024. He was born in Okmulgee, OK, on Sept. 3, 1942, to Ralph Shepherd and Ella (McDaniel) Shepherd.
Larry attended Preston High School and continued his education at East Central University. He owned and operated Summertree Fence Company, Inc.
Larry is survived by his wife, Judy Shepherd of the home; two children by his first wife, Suann: son, Steve Shepherd, and wife, Tracy, of Seminole, OK, and daughter, Shelley Markham, and husband, Rick, of Tulsa, OK; step daughter, Julie Briscoe, of Shawnee; four grandchildren: Dustin Shepherd and wife, Allisyn, of Shawnee, Dillon Shepherd of Seminole, Dalton Shepherd of Seminole, and Melia Markham of Nebraska; four great grandchildren; and his “Best Pal”, his dog, Sunny.
The family would like to thank the staff of Heartland Hospice for the wonderful care given to Larry.
