Leroy Dewayne Batt passed away April 18, 2025. Leroy was born Aug. 8, 1941 in Shawnee, OK to Amos Augustas and Helen Francis (Smith) Batt. He attended Bethel Schools. Leroy married Dorothy Sue Leyerly in TX. He worked as a carpenter for the Methvin Brothers for over 50 years.
Leroy is preceded in death by; his parents; his wife; and numerous siblings.
Those left to cherish his memory; daughter, Cindy Batt and husband David Conatser of Macomb; daughter, Karen Ward and husband Tommy of Macomb; son Leroy Batt, Jr. of Bethel Acres; grandchildren, Amber Batt, Zachery Batt, Natasha Batt, Lindsey Ward, Brittany Bland, Tiffany Batt, Cassie Batt, and Beau Batt; many great-grandchildren; brother, Don Batt and wife Linda of Bethel Acres; and numerous nieces, nephews and other family and friends.
Services were held April 23, 2025 at Cooper Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Larry Townsend officiating. Burial followed at Blackburn Chapel Cemetery under the direction of Cooper Funeral Home of Tecumseh.
