Linda June King passed away on August 16, 2024. Linda was born on February 4, 1946 to Robert Lee and Betty Marie Rone in Shawnee, OK. She attended Classen High School, graduating with the class of 1964. It was there that she met and eventually married her husband, John King on December 5, 1965. She retired from Farm Bureau in 2015.
Linda is survived by her husband John King, her two children, Amy King, JJ King, and her daughter-in-law Tina Ruminer King, sisters, Kelly (Rob) Branson and Kimberly (Travis) Baker, and her very beloved cousin, Mike Rone.
Those wishing to pay their respects may do so at Walker Funeral & Cremation Service on Thursday, August 22nd from 8:00 am to 7:00 pm with family present to greet friends from 5-7 pm. She will be eulogized at St. Benedict Church in Shawnee on August 23, 2024 at 2:00 pm. Burial will follow at Fairview Cemetery.
