Linda (Boyle) Pennington passed away Nov. 12, 2024. She was born in Lyons, KS, on Nov. 26, 1950, to Fred “Fritz” Boyle and his wife Ruby. Linda graduated from Texas State University as a non-traditional student in 2015 at age 65. She received high marks in her classes, and after graduation, she taught school.
Linda married David on July 4, 1970. Linda was a lifelong Christian who taught Sunday School in her youth. While battling cancer, she relied heavily on her faith. She took solace in her support groups.
Linda was proceeded in death by her parents and her two brothers Les and Terry Boyle. Linda is survived by her husband David Pennington, three children Teresa Deverill and her spouse Mark Deverill, Jennifer Pennington, Kevin Pennington and his spouse Kristin Pennington, her five grandchildren Sherri Anderson, Rebecca Karpe, Jamie Karpe, Curtis Karpe, and Cameron Karpe, and six great grandchildren Maylee Anderson, Adam Anderson, Allen Akins, Zelda Bushyhead, Molly Pennington, and Richard Karpe.
Services were held Nov. 18, 2024 at Walker Funeral Chapel with Rev. Larry Sparks officiating.
