Lorna K. (Lee) Blochowiak passed comfortably on Nov. 9, 2024, from kidney failure. Lorna was born in OKC to James Hollis Lee and Edwinna (Attebery) (Lee) Wittman. She attended Hayes Elementary School. She graduated from Dale High School. After high school, she worked at Cook’s department store, then Tinker AFB as a key punch operator. Just before getting married, she quit Tinker to become a fulltime housewife and mom. On July 12, 1973, she married Peter J. Blochowiak, Jr.
Lorna was preceded in death by one brother, Ronald Lee, her parents, step-father, Dale Wittman, and maternal and paternal grandparents.
She is survived by her husband of 52 years, Peter J. Blochowiak, Jr., daughters, Angela and Shelly, brothers, Mike, Victor, and Kendal Lee, sisters, Judy (Janell) Aguirre and Carla Craig, and six grandchildren.
Services will be held at New Beginnings, 1203 E. 42nd Street, Shawnee, on Friday, November 22, 2024 at 6:00 pm. All who attend will be invited and encouraged to share their memories of Lorna. It will be hosted by her husband and daughters.
