Louella Aletha (Dalton) Couch passed away Nov. 2, 2024. Louella was born on June 6, 1938, in Oxnard, CA. While in high school, Louella met Earl Couch. She was a homemaker until 1983, when she and Earl purchased Couch Sheet Metal. They were partners in every sense of the word, and she missed him greatly after his death in 1999. The sheet metal shop closed in 2004. She then worked at Stage & Firelake Grocery Store.
Louella was preceded in death by her husband, Earl; her parents, Carl and Vera Dalton; and her daughter, Gayla Pledger.
Louella is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Sherry and David Combs; son, Dan Couch; granddaughters: Sarah Wallis, Kasey Long (Glen), Jennifer Burks, and Elara Corsaro; grandson, Jeremy Westerman; and seven great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be Nov. 7, 2024, noon – 7:00 p.m., at AE Funeral Services Chapel, 603 W. Independence St., Shawnee, Oklahoma 74804. A funeral service will be held Nov. 8, 2024, 2:00 p.m., at AE Funeral Services Chapel.
