Lynda Kay Poe passed away Dec. 17, 2024. She was born July 16, 1944 in Gatesville, TX to James Henry and Thelma (Rainey) Foraker. Lynda graduated from St. Benedict’s High School. She married Freddy Lynn Poe on July 30, 1967 in Kingfisher, OK.
Lynda worked as the Nutrition Director for the C.P.N. Tribe.
She is preceded in death by her parents; her husband; and her brothers, Jimmy Westervelt, Donald Foraker, and Monty Westervelt.
Those left to cherish her memory; daughter, Lisa Bryner of Tecumseh; daughter, Vicki Rogers and husband Teddy of Tecumseh; son, Barry Poe and wife Amy of Wellston; and son Brian Poe of Tecumseh; nine grandchildren, and nine great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces, nephews and other family and friends.
Service were held Dec. 21, 2024 at Cooper Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Clint Dawkins officiating. Burial followed at Tecumseh Cemetery under the direction of Cooper Funeral Home of Tecumseh.
