Mary Sue Davis passed away Feb. 11, 2024. Mary was born June 28, 1950 to Virgil and Violet (Wilson) Ranells in Holdenville, OK.
Mary graduated with the class of 1969 from Asher High School. She worked for many years as a cook for the Asher Senior Citizen Center.
She was preceded in death by son Kenneth Michael Davis; her father Virgil Ranells; sister JoAnn Ranells Spoonemore; and mother-in-law Lilley Davis.
Survivors include her daughter, Susan Davis and longtime friend Jerry Roof of Asher, OK; son and daughter-in-law Cody and Robyn Davis of Tecumseh, OK; mother Violet Mae Ranells of Seminole, OK; brother and sister-in-law Billy and Anita Ranells of Wewoka; three grandchildren Chelby Davis, Josiah Davis and Abby Davis of Tecumseh; and other extended family and friends.
Services will be at 10 am, Thursday, Feb. 15, 2024, at Sharon Baptist Church with Brother Gary Caldwell officiating. Burial will follow at Vista Cemetery in Asher, OK under the direction of Cooper Funeral Home of Tecumseh.
