Michael William Haney passed away on August 3, 2023.
Michael was born on May 17, 1958 in Mobile, AL. He graduated from Meeker High School. After graduation, he served his country in the United States Army. Michael was a brilliant mechanic and enjoyed working on cars and motorcycles. When he was 16 years old, he made his own trike bike out of an old Model T.
Michael was preceded in death by his parents, Carol and Faye Harris and his brother, Ricky Haney. Survivors include his son, Tyler Haney of Shawnee and two grandsons, Aiden Haney and Zabreian Haney.
A funeral ceremony for Michael will be held at 10:00 am on Thursday, August 10, 2023 at the Walker Funeral Chapel. Following the ceremony, he will be laid to rest with military honors at New Hope Cemetery in Meeker.
