Naomi Irene Frentz - Totherow passed away January 24, 2024. Irene was born April 09, 1938 in Hidalgo, TS, to Aubrey and Doris Ellen (Hardesty) Gee.
She attended Capitol Hill Schools. Irene married her first husband Charles Frentz November 4, 1955, and he preceded her in death in 1970. She later married Bill Totherow in 1973 and he also preceded her in death in 1982.
She worked as a CNA for Colonial Estates Nursing Home and McLoud Nursing Center until she retired in 2001.
She was preceded in death by her parents, both of her husbands, her granddaughter, Bailey; grandson, Connor; son-in-law, Calvin Blevins; brothers, Edwin Gilindo, Leroy “Frank” Gilindo, Wayne Osborn and Charles Gee; and sister, Violet Cantwell.
Irene is survived by her son, Larry Frentz and Kim of McLoud; daughter, Debra Blevins of Stigler; her son, Robbie Frentz of Macomb; her sister, Patty Knight of Oklahoma City; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren, and other family and friends.
Services were held January 29, 2024 at Romulus Baptist Church with Rev. Jason Lee, Romulus Baptist Church officiating. Burial followed at Romulus Cemetery under the direction of Cooper Funeral Home of Tecumseh.
