Norvel (Butch) Allen Garlington Jr. passed away Aug. 7th, 2024. Known for working in the oil field then tinkering on cars, being involved with Boys Scouts, Masonic Lodge, and being a clown or Santa for Shriners. Norvel was a beacon of light and touched the lives of everyone he met.
Norvel was preceded in death by his parents, Norvel Allen Garlington Sr. and Winnifred Lorraine (Capstick) Garlington; brother-in-law Larry Lam Sr., and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.
He leaves a legacy through his wife of 55 precious years, Barbara Ann (Nobert) Garlington of Ada, OK; daughter and son in law Sabrina and Robert Cameron of Maud; son and daughter in law Matthew and Kiara Garlington of Maud; three granddaughters: Audreana Cameron of Palm Beach Gardens FL, Natasha Cameron of Moore OK, and Savanna Garlington of Maud; sister Patricia Lam of Shawnee OK, three nephews and their families.
