Patricia “ Diane” Hogue, of Tecumseh, OK, passed away March 24, 2024.
Diane was born September 22, 1953, in Shawnee, OK to Robert “Bob” and Thelma (Nichols) Benton. She graduated from Shawnee High School in 1971. She married Charley “Sonny” Hogue. Diane was raised in the family business, Benton’s Café, where she worked as a waitress. Diane worked at Federal National Bank, Banc-First, and for many years at Tinker Federal Credit Union where her specialty was student loans. As an adult and after raising her family, she attended St. Gregory’s University in the evenings and proudly earned an Associate’s Degree.
Preceding her in death are her husband, parents, sister; Kristine Ann Benton Drummond, and mother and father-in-law Charley “Buddy” and Annette Hogue.
Those left to cherish her memory are her sons- Charley “Chuck” Hogue and children; Jazmyn Sherk, Kyndal, Chrystian, and Chandler; Michael and Ellen Hogue and children; Jason and Ryley; sisters, Nancy Benton Wright, Linda Benton White, and Beth and V.A. Hatley. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, and a host of friends.
A family Gathering will be from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., Friday, March 29, 2024 at Cooper Funeral Home. Memorial Service will be held 11:00 a.m., Saturday, March 30, 2024 at Sharon Baptist Church with Reverend Clint Dawkins officiating under the direction of Cooper Funeral Home of Tecumseh.
