Patsy Sue Beets passed away April 8th, 2024. She was born December 26, 1942, in Oklahoma City, OK to Edgar and Vera (Edney) Giddens. Patsy graduated from Vamoosa High School in 1961 and on May 27, 1961 she married Larry Beets.
Patsy was preceded in death by her husband, Larry Beets; her parents; her sister, Sandra Godwin; son-in-law, Robby Sweetin; daughter-in-law, Patti Beets.
Survivors include three children, Terry Lynn Beets of Apache, OK, Jeanne Marie Sweetin of the home and Jawanai “Jo” Baggett of the home; grandchildren, Taryn and Kendric Reed, Lee Blackard, Anthony and Ashley Blackard, Jesse and Sierra Baggett, Brook and Brent Nelson, and Justin and Gabby Sweetin; 17 great-grandchildren; and nieces and nephews.
Services were held April 12th at Cooper Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Keith Ward, Taproot Church, Shawnee, OK officiating. Burial followed at Wanette Cemetery under the direction of Cooper Funeral Home of Tecumseh.
