Phyllis J. Rigney (Robbins), 60, of Shawnee, Oklahoma went to be with her Lord Jesus on March 17th, 2023.
She was born in Shawnee, Oklahoma to J.D. and Jane (Goss) Robbins. She married Steve Rigney on May 11th, 1991. Her favorite past times were: crafts, baking bread, playing cards, family gatherings, and church functions. Being a wife, mother, and grandmother brought great joy to her life.
Phyllis is survived by her husband Steve Rigney; son Wayne Manley of Shawnee, Oklahoma; daughter and son-in-law Megan and Neil Bradford of Colorado Springs, Colorado; six grandchildren: Gwendalynn Manley (20), Liam Manley (18), Bishop Manley (16), Emily Bradford (11), Elizabeth Bradford (7), and Evelyn Bradford (1); three siblings: Vicki Bertram of Smyrna, Tennessee, Sandra Harrison of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, and John L. Robbins of Yukon, Oklahoma; numerous step siblings, half siblings, nieces, and nephews.
She is preceded in death by her parents, mother and father-in-law, and brother Michael Childers.
Prayer service will be held at Walker Funeral Home in Shawnee, OK on Thursday, Mar. 23 at 6 pm. A funeral service in Phyllis’ honor will be held at St. Benedict’s Catholic Church in Shawnee, OK on Friday, Mar. 24 at 10 am.
