Reva Jean Derk passed away Sept. 30, 2024. Reva was born in Orange, TX to James Claude and Lora Marie Lagrone on April 28, 1948. Reva’s career as a cashier and her role in inventory control at Homeland Grocery showcased her commitment to providing excellent service to her community.
Reva is survived by her husband, Daniel Allen Derk; her sons: Robert Derk and wife Rhonda, Steven Derk and wife Machille, Gary Derk and wife Amber, and William Derk and wife Tammy; grandkids: Karter, Maurine, Addison, Spencer, Patrick, Owen, and Sarah.
Reva was preceded in death by her parents; brothers: Jerry Lagrone and Jim Lagrone; as well as sisters: Faye McGee and Johnnie Louella Granger.
Services were held Oct. 4, 2024, at Walker Funeral Chapel.
