Russell Don Anderson passed away on May 6, 2023.
Russell was born on March 3, 1961, in Seminole, OK to Wesley and Faye (McCoin) Anderson. He graduated from Earlsboro High School. Following his education, he began his career at Tinker Air Force Base, retiring at twenty-five years. He later began working for Eaton Corporation, retiring in 2016. He was preceded in death by his parents.
He is survived by his wife, Leslie Anderson of Shawnee; one son, Justin Anderson and fiancé Sarah Roy of Oklahoma City, OK; one sister, Melissa Bryan of Durant, OK; two brothers, Randall Anderson and wife Teresa Lee of Noble, OK, and Scott Anderson of Sulphur, OK; two step daughters, Laura Schmidt of Pink, OK, and Holly Genn of Shawnee, OK; many step grandchildren; numerous cousins, aunts, uncles and friends; and two close friends that were like sisters, Tracy Loveland, and Zeni Hubert.
