Shirley Jean Early-Glover passed away Feb. 25, 2025. She was born May 21, 1946 in Shawnee, OK to William and Ola (Macdonald) Hackett. Shirley graduated from Tecumseh High School, then took vocational ed and received various certificates. She married Robert Lewis Glover Aug. 8, 2011 in Shawnee, OK. Shirley worked as a med aide for most of her life.
She was preceded in death by her parents; brothers: Bill, Lloyd, Lonnie, Kenneth and Tommy Hackett; sisters: Allie Young and Beulah Milburn; several nieces and nephews.
Survivors include her husband of the home; sons: Steven and Jason Leader, Larry and Buddy Thomason; stepsons: Charles and James Glover; stepdaughters: Latecia and Paula Glover, Angie Ball and their spouses; eight grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren, many nieces, nephews, and other extended family and friends.
Services were held Feb. 28, 2025 at Dale Cemetery with Reverend Dennis Traxler of Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church, Shawnee, OK, officiating under the direction of Cooper Funeral Home of Tecumseh.
