Shirley Jolene King passed away peacefully, after a long battle with Dementia, on June 10, 2023.
She was born on March 4, 1935 in Long Beach, CA where she lived many years before moving to San Pedro, California. There, she met her future husband, Gantt, in 1964, who was in the Air Force and they married in 1969. She enjoyed crafting, Nascar Racing, gardening and she loved her dogs.
She is preceded in death by her husband and parents.
She is survived by her sister, Sandy Ehrle of Shawnee, brother and sister-in-law, Jerry and Joyce Ehrle of South Fork, CO, son Joe King of Nashua, NH, grandson, Vincent of Tulsa, OK and stepdaughter, Torey King of Thiensville, NJ.
Those wishing to pay their respects may do so at Walker Funeral & Cremation Service on Thursday, June 15th from 8 am – 5 pm.
