Theodore “Theo” Robert May Jr., also known as Teddy to his family, age 19 of Norman, OK, passed away October 26, 2023.

He was born July 13, 2004 in Methuen, MA, to Theodore Robert May and Amy Elizabeth Russo.

Theo graduated from McLoud High School with the class of 2022 with honors. He also attended Gordon Cooper Aviation School in Shawnee. He was in his sophomore year at the University of Oklahoma, pursuing his degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering.

Theo worked at several places in Shawnee, Norman and Harrah areas including Kohl’s, El Nino, Walmart, Panda Express, Home Depot and others.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, LaDonna (Greenlee) Epperson, Bobby Lee May and Joseph Russo.

Theo’s memory is kept alive by his father, Theodore Robert May Sr. and mother, Lisa Kay May of the home; two sisters, Shelby Dowell and husband Steven of Jones and Brianna Nikkel of Yukon; his nephew, Zane Dowell of Jones; grandparents, Cynthia Russo of Andover, MA, Charles Losawyer and wife Barbara of Oklahoma City; aunt, Lara Mathews and husband Justin of Dale, OK; and many other family members and friends.

Visitation will be from 9:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m., Friday, November 3, 2023 with family gathering from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. to greet friends and family at Cooper Funeral Home. Service will be 2:00 p.m., Saturday, November 4, 2023 at Cooper Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Clint Dawkins, Sharon Baptist Church officiating. Burial will follow at Rossville Cemetery in Meeker, OK under the direction of Cooper Funeral Home of Tecumseh.
